Tussah silk has lower fineness; after refining, the single filament is generally 2~2.5 denier, with a slightly yellowish color, and can be spun into medium to low-count (60~120 metric count) spun silk. Eri silk has a fineness slightly lower than mulberry silk; the single filament is generally around 1.5 denier, and can be spun into medium to low-count (70~140 metric count) spun silk.
